Corporate Wellness Interventions & Consulting
A happier and healthier workforce means higher engagement, contribution & productivity.
Workplace Health Promotion.
It’s more than just the bottom line.
The cost of absenteeism in Australia is estimated at $7 billion each year, while presenteeism, defined as not fully functioning at work because of a medical condition, was recently estimated to cost the economy more than $34 billion a year. 1
Along with the astounding numbers above, a study from the American Institute of Stress showed that almost 80% of workers today feel stress on the job, with nearly half saying that they need help in learning how to manage stress. 62% routinely find that they end the day with work-related neck pain, 44% reported stressed-out eyes, 38% complained of hand pain and 34% had difficulty sleeping because they were too stressed out. 2
This is clearly a worldwide issue and now more than ever, employers need to be at the forefront of health and wellness in the workplace.
